Life as a charity can be very hard at times, because of the strict budgets and demands. To be truthful there are many times we lack the basic needs because without public donations we don’t exist. We are forever grateful when someone donates on behalf of New Image Youth Center because this is how we stay thriving and able to provide for over 75 youth on a daily basis. We wanted to say thank you for being a part of the New Image Youth Center and check out how some very special people made it possible to provide for our Parramore Youth.
On behalf of New Image Youth Center, we would like to thank Safelite Auto Glass, Sun State Ford, Goodyear tires, and Florida Gulf Coast University for their invaluable support. Without your amazing contribution, our youth would not have been able to have the spring break trip, which was the summer of their dreams and be prepared for back to school. Your outstretched hand of support has lifted our mood in a positive way.
We are grateful for the provision of new, modern sneakers by Safelife Auto Glass. Your kind gesture has given our youth the needed confidence to enter the school year with PRIDE. Before then, many of our youth were in need. Your support has made it possible for our youth to enter the new school with the latest pairs of sneakers and we are saying thank you.
Initially, it was not all smooth at first but thanks to Sun State Ford for seeing the mission, we are back on our feet. Your company carried out a repair worth $7,000 for our organization and due to this our van now is in good shape. Because of your repair our youth were able to go on over 10 field trips during the summer one being Aquatica Water park! Not just that, we are now able to pick up our youth from school and take them home in the evenings to keep them from walking in the dangerous streets. For making our life easier, we say thank you.
We say a big thank you to Goodyear Tires for their great support. The new tires we have are all thanks to you. Your generous gesture had made it possible for our non-profit organization to travel to various events or destinations on time and safely. Anytime, any day, we are ready to roll and we are thanking you for the huge role you played.
Also, I would like to appreciate Florida Gulf Coast University for their accommodating gesture and for giving our youth a taste of college life. When we received the invitation for a tour at the distinguished institution, our level of joy knew no bound. Getting there, we were amazed by the way we were treated with first class and enjoyed being able to see our friend Mr. Zaller Nunez . All of our youth spoke highly of the institution and were encouraged to attend college. We all are saying thank you for making it a great educational and fun-filled experience for us. Did you know that the trip was the very first out of town experience for over half of the group? That’s right we took 42 youth and 20 of them had never been outside of the Orlando area. We can’t say thank you enough to Marc Bennett, Lake Highland, Bahamas Breeze and the Kiwanis of Orlando for making it happen for us. Thank you Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) for allowing our youth to see that anything is POSSIBLE!
